I have a Dell 4400 P4 2.0 w1G ram and 80 G hard drive. My problem is every time I try to load certain gamesfor my 4 yr old son i get the following message from Director Player 6.0: This program reqires at least 3MB of free virtual memory to run and thats as far as it gets. Any help would be great. Thanks Del

I doubt you have too many programs open. I'm guessing something else is wrong. Use task manager's performance tab to look at your commit charge. What's the commit charge limit on your system? Has the commit charge peak ever approached the limit?

If your running win xp, go into control panel and system features, there you can change the virtual memory size. since you have an 80 gig drive just change it to at least 3 or 4 meg.. This should fix it.. If you have problems finding how to change it, go to help and type in "Virtual Memory". It will give you the link to change it.. This will fix the problem..
