This is probably a dumb question, but i gotta know the answer. ;) I am gettin a new video card, and i am wonderin: If the card fits in the port (in this case the card need AGP 2.0 or higher, and my board has an AGP 2.0 slot) but is for some odd reason incompatable with my system, nothing is going to be damaged, fried, burned, or whatever right?
I am probably right in believeing that nothing will happen other than the card will just do nothing and i will get a bios error, but i wanna make sure i am correct because i dont have the money to buy a new MOBO ;)
thanks in advance :)

DON'T SCARE HIM!
yes. Nothing will be burned. Read ur motherboard's manuual or call ur motherboard company or ur computer manufactuerer for list of compatible video cards.

if u asked a noobs question like that, u should probably not know the procesure. Don't add or remove devices from ur motherboard or it will be significantly damaged.
