I am just wondering if and how I can get rid of a search bar just under my address window in my web browser. The name of the search bar is mywaysearch. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

You have a BHO "ad-ware, malware, hijacker" if You have Lavasoft AD Aware, or Spy Bot S & D, run these programs, either one will detect it and remove it.

Roberto,
Thanks for your response to my question. I ran the ad-aware and spy bot scan with no positive results. I did remember that I have the hijackthis program and ran that one.
The resultsof that scan showed the mywaysearch path name and I check marked them and removed them. This took care of the mywaysearch bar on my web browser. Thanks again for your input, Ron

You remove by going to add/remove programs in the control panel. that is where I removed mine from. Under mywaysearch.

switched on,
Thanks for your response on the mywaysearch bar. I checked my add/remove programs after you mentioned that and it was no where to be found.
I think I have zapped it gone with the HIJACKTHIS PROGRAM. Thanks for your input, Ron
