Need a little more info here. Is it just recently did you install something and it became slow what do you have for a computer besides "normal what it comes with" No one will be able to help with that little of info given. Theories can be given though
Go Start-run-type MSCONFIG- Check the startup tab and see what programs are starting you don't need and uncheck them.

The first thing would be to download a spyware checker such as Spybot S&D. It sounds like some programs are running that you do not know about. Make sure that you download the update for it and then run it. You will probably be surprised at what it finds. If you are not sure what each listing is that shows up when you do a scan then let the program remove everything. If there is a cookie that is saving a password then you can reenter it the next time you are prompted, but this is a good starting point. Good luck
