My usb 2.0 hub dosn't work

when i put my new hub into my computer it didn't say anything about new hardware being added. it will however provide power to usb devices such a a key disk it just wont see that they are there.

Assuming that your external peripherals (key drive etc)were properly connecting to the same original USB port on your PC, you probably need to install a driver for your hub, if such driver is not in the Hub's package, the next place to look for it is the manufacturer's website.

it has auto maticly instulled the driver. but i do also think that it might be the pci slot. i will ckeck that tonight.
