MY system Restore is turned off...

Specs: Windows XP
my ststem restore is turned off..i cant even turn on..everything is grayed out...i cant lissen to music on windows media says internal error occured cant play...nd den i found out it was something wid da system restore..i can only play music in WMP if system restore is turned on...but its gray..wat to do??..plsss help!!..plssssssss

I don't have System Restore enabled on my PC either, but that's by my choice. I don't need it & don't want it. I have no problems with WMP due to it being disabled. If you didn't disable it, you may have a virus. How are you attempting to turn it back on? Right click on My Computer, click Properties, then click the System Restore tab. Even if you do manage to re-enable it, there will NOT be any restore points to fall back on. All points were deleted the moment System Restore was disabled. I suggest you run a full scan for viruses & malware.
