my speakers don't work

My speakers all of the sudden don't work in my pc, i tested them in another pc and they work fine. Can anybody give me a hint on how to solve this problem?

A hint? Sure - check your sound card entry in Device Manager to see if there are any warnings or errors reported there
I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.

also, open up the windows sound mixer panel and make sure the volume sliders are at least halfway up and nothing is muted
