Hi,

Not sure where else to post this but it seems that sometimes when i reply to a thread my post disapears, i get confirmation that my reply was successfully submnitted but when i go back its gone. Also when i look at the message list it display that thread that i replied to and it also allows me to edit it, but when i click it nothing happens.

Any ideas, can i somehow inform Justin?

Thanks,

To clarify, you are concerned with YOUR responses to someone else s original post?

I am confused. If your response is not showing in the thread then what is it you can edit?

What forum/s is this occurring in? A moderator may have deemed the response inappropriate and removed it.

Hi OtheHill,

Here is the post i responded to.

http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

it appears in my message list and i am able to edit, but my post isnt there, not sure why, its happened a couple of times but i never paid too much attention to it, but now thats it happening more often i wonder what i am doing wrong, or if something is working correctly.

yes i clarift that it is MY response on someone elses original post.

I didnt not have any bad language or offensive content in my post, i never do that sort of thing as i dont believe its neccesary - so thats why im confused.

i might try and edit again and see where that leeds me, will text with the title "Test" and will add the contect "tesing" see what happens. previous attempts to edit didnt work.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

I removed some of the posts from that thread because it looked like a flame war was starting.

Hi Justin,

Lol i was trying to be the peacemaker and bring both their ideas together, i didnt encourage or part take in any of the wars, i suppose its not easy to see what someone is trying to say from their posts. Thanks for letting me know, though Justin i seriously do not like feuding with people and try to keep my posts clean so im sorry if you thought i was part taking.

Thanks for letting me know.

Bunty.

Hey,

Sometimes its just easier to remove it all to prevent it from escalating any further... I know from more years of experience than I'd like to count :)
