Hi everyone! I've noticed that everytime I put a picture in the "my pictures" folder in my documents it then shows in the display properties under desktop. Does anyone know a way around this? If there is a registry correction and someone knows it I would be glad to hear it. I am very comfortable working within the registry, thanks to Computing.net.

What I did was to create another folder in My Documents, and move them to it.

Michelle67, Go to the link below and scroll down to line 263 (left column) and download run the "Disable Default Save As to My Pictures" .reg file. Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt.
