I did a reformat for a friend and installed a fresh copy of WINXP.. it worked fine although it rebooted by it-self a couple of times.. but other than that it was okay.
But after switchin it off at night.. the PC wouldnt start up at all..as in no video signal.. The mobo has an in built Video Card so i tried replacing the Ram.. reseting the CMOS and even changing the Power supply..i even disconneted everything and just tried bootin up just to get to the bios..but the screen is just blank.. PLEASE HELP.. I feel guilty for doing it to my friend although i dont see how installin a fresh copy of winxp does this do a computer

A fresh install of XP will not have had the effect you describe. As you say it did work initially. You have checked all the items I can suggest with the exception of the monitor and MOBO. Have you checked the monitor connections, if so try another monitor. Other than that, it sounds like the MOBO went south.
This once again proves that no good deed goes unpunished.

yeah..ive tried a good monitor.. gets the same response..BLANK..lol
Guess it has to be the mobo..i just find it so concidential..cause its been workin fine all the while for a good year or so till i did the clean install.. btw..there isnt even a beep sound..does tt make a difference? i know the cpu is runnin cause the heat sink is warm.. and the mobo light is on..its just too bad i dont have a pci graphic card if not i would have tested to see if the in built graphic mobo is spoilt..
