My PC Reboot Automatically

Specs: Windows XP
Can anyone help me yesterday i was face very different problem in my PC, sometimes my pc reboot again and again after give me Win XP unlimited logo,and there is no anyone command helpful means doesnt work F8 ,then after some times i was format my pc and load xp2 os in d:\ and i thought that i will recover my data from c:\ which was faced in problem,,so when i had installed xp2 os in d:\ after i will see the c:\ had empty,,this is very surprised to me so plz tel me anyone what i do ??

Hi there,

Its very strange that you lost your data on c drive while you installed the operating system on D drive. Anyhow to recover data you need to install some recovery software and then scan your c drive to see what you can recover. Most popoluar recovery softwares are Power Data Recovery & R-Studio ...but these are commercial one. Search on google for freeware ...

yes thanks but i have already recover my data by the use from NTFS recovery software.. i have got my data fully ,,
but my quest,, is what is the reason of to lost my win XP unlimited from c:\ fully,, which viruses to attack my pc to lost my not data while its fully os had corrupted can u tell me plz,,

HI there,

Viruses normally attacks on exe file especially that are in use and operating system files are the best option for them to operate so they stick with them. Different viruses do different things some will remove options , some wont allow you to load exe files...etc.

Yes I know that you are saying right,,,that Viruses normally attacks on executable file especially.but, so what`s the reason that of i had lost my fully os,,,yet you did not told me ,,,please give a particular reason,,

Filesystem of C drive was corrupted and thats why your new windows was not able to recognise.
