And scan your system in Safe Mode... but start before by removing entries from msconfig Start-Button\type "msconfig" (no quotes) hit Enter and in the Startup Tab uncheck everything except for the Antivirus.. if you need any other application in the Startup, you can re-check it later. Next run HijackThis to remove possible infections, and manually remove the accumulated files in the Temp folders (User, System and Internet temp files).. To access the hidden User Temp Folder; Start\Run\type: “%temp%” (no quotes) and hit Enter... Windows\Temp folder: Run command, type: “%SystemRoot%\TEMP”.... Internet Temp Files are better deleted through Control Panel\Internet Options\General tab.. also delete Cookies. Or you can save the trouble and install CCleaner to keep your system clean of these and other types of useless residual files. CCleaner can also be used to disable or enable entries in the msconfig Startup tab.
After you're done, check your installed RAM... seems to me 320MB is a bit awkward config.. mixed capacities, speed or types of RAM tend to cause trouble.

To fix the problem with the add-on, you need to disable the add-ons installed in your Mozilla Firefox web browser. You could also fix the problem due to Switch Proxy Tool by disabling it. You need to click the Tools menu and then select Add-ons, Select the Extensions panel, SwitchProxy Tool and then click disable. Your Mozilla Firefox may freeze or hang when you attempt to download or try to save images in your computer, this is caused due to the conflicts from the older files. You can easily fix this issue by clearing your download history.
