Hello. Every time i start my HP, it posts fine, but then it ask me what os i want to use - win 95 or win xp pro, and it has a 30 second timer that counts down before the selected os boots. My friend formatted my hd a year ago and used a bootdisk he created from win 95. My question is, does anyone know if i can make win xp pro boot automatically after the post and just get rid of the os selection screen? Thank you for your time!

I would re-install XP. Sounds like you have two OS's installed and Wind 95 is just taking up space. I would start fresh and install Xp from scratch. However if you don't want to do this then there might be a setting in the BIOS where you can adjust this.
