My Network Places is empty

Please help! Not even my local drives are showing on MNP, why? Thanks!

my network places does not display drives, it displays other computers on a network, going to my computer will display your drives

Try this.-services and be sure wireless zero configuration is set to automatic.

i am confused...i never knew that local drives (c:, d:) show up in MNP, where are they at?

They don't. I assumed he is confusing drives with computers. Now I am confused. LOL!!

I'm confused too! lol Sorry, on one of my computers, it shows "Local network" and (underneath it) Shareddocs on (my PC name). On the one that doesn't work, it shows nothing, not even the title "Local network" and on the Start menu, "My Network Places" is not on it. Thanks for the replies but I don't think the problem has been addressed yet. Help!

if your machine is on the network then you can right click on the desktop and go to properties, go to desktop, then customize desktop, put a checkmark in "my network places" and click apply and ok
