I have Windows Media Center Edition so I wanna make use of my "My Video" and "My Music" folders because Media Center can only access them for music and videos. However, I keep all my videos and music on a secondary hardrive. Is there anyway I can make the "My Video" and "My Music" folders so that they're shortcut folders for the folders I keep my videos and music in on the secondary drive?

open up windows explorer, and browse to the my documents directory on your c:

select the my music and my video folders and cut them both

go to a directory on your secondary hard drive and paste them

that will automatically store your music and video on your d: instead, or wherever you choose

you can do the same with the my documents folder too, if you wish. just cut-paste the whole my documents folder to d:
