hi i just built my own computer but i have a problem.
when i turn on my computer the computer sounds like its working perfectly but the monitor wont come on its like its not detecting that its connected to the computer.
so as most poeple would do i tryed diffent harddware such as connceting a differnt monitor and i differnt grphics card but it makes no differnce so iv come to the conclusion that i must have forgot to do something when building it but i have no idea what could be causing the problem can anybody help.
btw i know that the graphics card and monitors worked because i tryed them on a working computer and had no problems.
thnx in advance

Hey, nothing wrong with being an idiot, my wife calls me that all the time.

Here is lots of info on the MOBO

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=+ga-5ax&btnG=Google+Search

When booting up tap the delete key to enter Setup (bios) and see if you can find some thing like "Load fail Safe Defaults",save the setting and exit to reboot.Post back
