Hi, I have a PIII 1Ghz, 256 RAM, 40G hard drive and a good old 56k Creative modem. Ever since I installed XP pro my connection status shows 115k...It's not a big issue but I would still like to know why that is happening. Thanks.

Glad to see someone else has that experience. From time to time my 56k will connect at 115k and on others at anything from 48 to 56k. Like you it is no big deal but I wonder what causes it.
