i just bought a dell notebook inspiron 600m. i tried to download a theme for the logon screen from themexp.org. For some reason, now i can't return to my default log on screen. could someone help me put my default screen on or another theme. For right now, another screen that looks like a windows ME log on screen apears. And I don't like that.

Eliseo, chances are your original screen's still around and can be located with search. If not, here are the instructions for creating a new one. Doubt you need them, but...:
Make new logo screen (these instructions are for putting a business name in the screen)You need to put the following infomation in a file called oeminfo.ini (if you want info) and have your .bmp file (logo screen) call it oemlogo.bmp and make it no larger the 100x70 (using paint or what ever else)
Put both of the files in the /windows/system32 dir.inside oeminfo.ini:
[general]
Manufacturer=Store name[Support Information]
Line1=For Technical Support contact:
Line2=
Line3=Store Name.
Line4=555-555-5555
Line5=address
Line6=
Line7=http://www.storename.com
You can choose any picture you wish to use so long as you make it the proper size and give it the proper name. There are other commands you can have for doing things like web links and other things.

I have an image in Paint under the format of .bmp and the size 800x600 pixels .How could I put that picture on the log on screen? The way themexp.org says it to do it didn't really work for me. Is this picture going to cover the whole log on screen or is it just going to be a small picture?
