My laptop starts running really slow and is baslicly unuseable when it happens.
when i go to the task manager there is programs running when i close them my computer crashes yet when i restart my computer they run again.
these programs are, pctsSvc.exe, winlogon.exe, svchost.exe, vsnpstd3.exe, synTPEnh.exe, jusched.exe, LSSrvc.exe.
think there may be more but hard to tell as the computer really isnt useable when it starts. can anyone tell me what theses are? or whats happening to my laptop? or how to fix it?
it does start working if you leave it but takes about an hour.

pctsSvc.exe is the PC Tools Spyware Doctor core service,
winlogon.exe is Windows NT4/2000/XP/2003 Logon application
svchost.exe is Service Host - Generic Host Process for Win32 Services
vsnpstd3.exe is Sonix Webcam detector task
synTPEnh.exe is Synaptics TouchPad Enhancements driver for laptops' touchpads
jusched.exe is Sun Java Runtime Update Scheduler
LSSrvc.exe is a process associated with the Light Scribe software

Simply sort the processes by CPU usage and check if any of them takes more than 20 - 30% of procesor time. If you do not find any discrepancies check the memory usage. This should give you information which process consumes the most of you computer's resources (except the idle process).
Check also if you haven't got any tasks runing in the backround like disc defragmentation or antivirus scan.
