Solved my laptop is asking for a code after ive rebooted

Specs: Windows xp
i have an elonex webbook windows xp model number LNXWB10LGHD80/090 i've rebooted it but it's asking for a product number i dont have as it's second hand i didn't get a manual when i bought it please help as i've not got alot of money so can't really afford a new one.... thankyou in advance

Reboot just means to restart (power off then on). Do you mean factory restore, Windows Restore, or something else?

It would have been possible to get this number from the system before you did the restore but if you did factory restore it is now too late. I assume it is not on the case somewhere.

If it's asking for a product key, on units with a preinstalled OS there's almost always a COA sticker somewhere on its exterior that has a key you can use--well unless someone has previously peeled it off.
