I recently installed Disney's Toontown Online on my laptop for my son. Now My home page keeps changing to Google. No matter what I try to enter as my home page, Google keeps coming up every time I go to Internet Explorer. I have no trouble surfing the net, but want to have whatever I want as my homepage. I uninstalled Toontown nand deleted everything Google related, but my home page keeps reverting to Google. HELP!!!

Run system restore & revert the system back to before all this started. On a lighter note - I doubt any website commands as much user homepage share as Google does for desktops. It is the homepage on all the systems in my home partly because I set all the systems up & I'm too lazy .... LOL

Scott62, go into your control panel add/remove prohrams and uninstall any google instances. Google desktop and toolbar should be located there.
I don't think you've been hijacked.
I don't use ANY extra toolbars as all they seem to do is cause more problems than they are worth...Good Luck

Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

If you have Norton 2006, it has a setting that will block any attempt to change your home page. (just a thought)
