my EXE files dont work correctly

well, i was tryin to delete a virus on my registry and i deleted my whole exe regestry. now my exe files dont work. Someone Please Help!

Try DOUGKNOX.COM. He has a tool to restore .exe associations. Good Luck.

well, i cant download anything because it requires a exe file, i need to do it manually

john, Are you able to use the Internet with the messed up computer. If you are go to the link below, click on "Win XP Fixes", click on "File Association Fixes", click on "Exe File Association Fix" and download that file. Unzip it and run it. If you can't get on the Internet yiu could use someon elses computer to download it onto a floppy and transfer it to the messed up computer then unzip it and run the .reg file by following these instructions.

The files listed here are all ZIP files, which contain a REG (Registry) file. Download the ZIP and open it. Extract the REG file to your hard disk and double click it. Answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad. Each of the REG files contains the default settings for the file extension indicated. Here's the link.
