my Ergo laptop keeps rebooting itself

Ergo / Microlight 531
July 3, 2010 at 02:22:47
Specs: Windows XP, unknown
my laptop keeps reeboting itself, but when i remove my halo combat evolved disk it works normally, when i installed the game, it asked would you like to install gamespy arcade, and i clicked yes, then it gave loads of trojans, spyware and adware.
i tried cleaning the vents with a vacume cleaner, alot of dust!!!! the laptop is encased in a mobilis IK shock resistance case that says it helps to cool it down but it gets alot of dust

Mmm until now I'd never heard of "Halo..." but a wee trawl doth enlighten... It's a game?

And it doth appear to riddled with known issues surrounding M$-windows...

discusses many of them?

Possibly you are in the area as above; posibly your system is not au-fait (OK - or upto par) for the version you have?

Use System Failure Settings to Stop Automatic Restarts.

1. Click Start and Open the Control Panel
2. Go to System and Maintenance, Click on System.
3. Select Advanced System Settings and choose Advance tab.
4. Under Startup and Recovery, click on Settings.
5. Under System failure uncheck Automatically restart.

Hope this helps!
