I am going nucking futs here....my "my documents" folder is stored on our server as a shared drive. i have a logon script that connects me to it. in it there is a "my music" "my ebooks" and "my pictures" folder that friggin' microsuck puts in there by default. i delete it and it's gone....until i log on to a DIFFERENT machine. it's not in my logon script to add it back....but if i log onto a different screen it re-appears.

is there any way to stop these damn folders from creating themselves and just stay away permanently? it drives me nuts.

What I do is right click on the folder and choose properties and check the box that says hidden. That way it hides them and I never see them.
