Hi, hope you can help me with this:
I have a lot of games and other stuff that I prefer it remain ONLY in my HD, I dont want to share my files, but am not the only one that use my machine and my cousins copy or burns in a cd every file or game their found, I want it stops but don’t know how.

Make an own administrator account protected by password? make My Docs folder private and encript or cifrate the data or put a password to access to My Docs folder? The answer is NO, because I want this people have entire access to my PC when them comes home, use it and enjoy every game in it and…(will sound cruel, I know)… I also want my cousins try and make a copy in cd, diskette, flash card, external hard drive, copy the files via LAN or even better: send MY files to their e-mail accounts, anyway… take MY FILES to their homes but I want the files being no recognized by their PC’s… SURPRISE!!!

Got it? simple… my files only can be recognized by my system, that’s it, like My pc were a MAC and copy anything and then try to make it works in a normal PC.

I tried Folder Password Expert but it is no solution for me, because it is so obvious asking a password when someone try to make a copy, just don’t want anybody be realized that my PC has some encription that’s forbids the normal read of any of MY files in other PC.

Sorry by the long message but am really excited in find an app that make this possible:

1)Encript all my computer data, and all means EVERY files, allowing to copy but cant be recognized in other PC. or..

2)Encript the data while being copied, directly in a diskette, a flash card, via Lan or when it is burning in a cd, this CD wil not work in other pc but in my pc it will work normally.

I know that if someone uses SYMANTEC GHOST or another HD clone software to make a copy of my HD, am lost… but I doubt that this people be that smart jeje.

Hope you can help.

PD. In my other message about the weird access to my empty floppy drive, let me tell you that I uninstaled this device.

Thanks in advance.

I can not figure out what your goal is.

The best I understand is you want to let everyone use your hard drive and be able to copy all of your files but to keep them on your hard drive.

I think I get it now...They are moving your files instead of copying them.

If I understand correct then simply make a copy of the files and place them in a separate folder or even better; to a CD.
Make several copies of the CD and give one copy to each.

Or, if you are referring to installed games that are licensed then don't let anyone have any illegal copies.

"I can not figure out what your goal is."

Well, my goal is to keep MY files in MY HD only for me.

Some people comes to my home and uses my pc but when am not near them make copies of MY pictures, MY games and everything.

I just want them feel free to copy but their copies wont works in theirs pcs.

Besides I have licenced games and other software and if I use programs like Folder Password Expert, their will be angry and I dont want this, just realize that them cant run their copies in their pcs but only in MY pc. (and not to be my fault) :)

Just this.
