I HAVE XP HOME EDITION AND WHEN I LOG IN OR REBOOT MY DOCUMENTS OPENS BY DEFAULT....ITS NOT MY DESK TOP DOCUMENTS EITHER..IT LOOKS LIKE MY MY ODCUMENTS PROGRAMS FILES. I CHANGED THE TARGET, DIDN'T HELP. I'M GETTING TIRED OF CLOSING IT ALL THE TIME.
Check your start up menu and see if that folder might be in there?

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
and
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
where username denotes a your user account configured on the computer.
