i recently upgraded from windows me to windows xp operating system. after a day or so of using xp i noticed that on the desktop my mouse could scroll to the right rather far and it would take a bit for it to return into view (by "to the right rather far" i mean off the screen) i took a screen shot of my desktop and sure enough, there was a mirror of the desktop i normally see minus the icons to the right of the "regular" desktop. this is rather annoying and i was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem. also, when i move my mouse to the left it stops like it's supposed to. the little buttons on the front of my monitor also are no help as the screen is set to where that would not be a factor. i have a geforce mx2 graphics card (theshadowone: ur previous help didnt work as i couldnt find the nview button or anything that resembled it)

If you haven't tried this yet, right click on your desktop then click on properties- click on the settings tab and change your screen resolution to at least 800 X 600 pixels or greater. That might do it.

Ok, if dual monitoring is on, in display properties, under the tab where you can select color depth, and screen resolution, you should see 2 monitors in the example. Since you say that the cursor goes to the right, select the right monitor, right click, and unceck enabel... Click apply, if there is only 1 monitor in the example, then my help is of no use to you...
