CPU/Ram: amd sempron 256 ddr

i bought a motherboard a case and a proccesor i installed everything and i went to turn on the comp there was a wissle coming out of the power supply nothing will move i think its my power supply

If its the same power supply that you had earlier, then perhaps it does not put out enough power to get your mobo up and running. try checking the fuses in the PS, then call a techie....i'm goin to a party...good luck
