Pls help me if any one can.My problem is that.
"When ever i play any video or watch flash videos on web my computer suddenly STUCK and i cant move cursor or do any thing untill i cannot restart.Always i have that prob.I change my vja.but still that prob.i formarted 4 time windows xp with different cds.also i change power suply n processer fan.i have symantec antivirus and i scan many times no virus in my pc i m shure about that.This prob i face from 3 weeks before my system was excellent"
pls help me i really wan otherwise i will buy a new computer.but i wan slolution for that pls.

mrlova, what you describe sounds like 'buffering'. Shouldn't be with 1G of memory unless something is consuming that memory. Deleted index.dat lately? Sorta a SWAG, but... A common ailment is a file called 'index.dat'. It gets read every time and can take quite a while if it’s too bloated. It's like a log file and keeps a record of every site you visit on the web. Empty, it's 32K, but it can grow HUGE. It's a protected file and can't be deleted by normal methods. CCleaner (free @: http://www.ccleaner.com/) can get rid of it (not to worry, it gets rebuilt EMPTY on the next boot.). HTH. Ed in Texas.
Summary: whenever my computer has some heavy processing to do i.e video encoding or defrag the screen goes off,hard disk light stays on and have red led,s on my motherboard. i havto power off (disconnect lead)...
Summary: Well its hard to explain. My computer is just being really 'wacky'. There has been floppy disk errors (80). Also sometimes when I'm typing the computer will just continue typing the last key I pressed...
