my computer links to desktop

When I click "my computer" or "my document" or "my ...", they all go to Decktop folder. Any one can help tp solve the problem?

silver1, It won't hurt to try this:
Clcik Start>Run then copy & paste or type in:
regsvr32 /i shell32
Click OK
Note that the spacing is important.

silver1, I don't know what caused that problem but trying what I posted won't hurt anything. You can also try a System Restore to the closest date prior to when this problem started. Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore.
