ok my computer keeps on jamming and it takes a feww minutes before i can resume what i was doing. It jams quite alot about every minute. What do you guys think is it my computer or the operating system. Win xp pro. Please help i pretty much cant do anything unti i get this sorted out. It took me half an hour to write this post.

Have you defragged it lately? If my pc gives me too many freezes or blue screens I usually go with a reinstall of the whole thing. Also make sure to test to see if it's a memory problem. (SimmTester or Memtest) Kevin.

Your freezing problem could be due to a number of things. Bad memory, defrag or power supply to mention a few. The list can be quite numerous. It usually boils down to a process of elimination. Good luck

Have you checked for spyware, viruses, trojans, etc? Spyware will drag you down as well as the things mentioned above. Spybot S&D and ad-aware are both free prog to remove all kinds of adware and spyware. Also have you cleaned your internet temp files, windows temp folder?
