Comment:

My computer has started to run very slow lately. And at the same time the computer began to run slow, I started to get an error message every time I start up my computer:
Zanda.exe encountered a problem and needed to close.

I really don't know what's the problem, and my newly updated virus program (norman), has not found anything.
Please help me!

Thanks!

Hallvard

Zanda.exe apears to be the main file in your Norman Virus Scanner. If it is closing it is probably in response to a virus being present. Virus's love to nuke virus scanners.

Go Here and do a virus scan.

Also Symantec has an online virus scan.

64MB of RAM ?
Just to say, you should get more RAM.
XP uses all of, at least, 128 to run properly,
and works better.
It slows things down if you have programs
starting and running in the background during Startup.
Also when you open programs, things are slower
if they have to take RAM away from XP.
You should have enough RAM (above 128) for each program you run at the same time.

I am with 'Chuck', 64MB RAM kills your speed, upgrade your RAM to 128 MB atleast..and enjoy working on PC..

64M of RAM didn't cause his computer to suddenly start running slow. If RAM were his only problem then his computer would have run slow from the beginning.

I agree that he should have minimum 128M and preferably 256M. However lets address the problem as stated.
