Did you use the search function before posting this question? If not I suggest you do so now. read what others have asked and tried in order to identify what your problem might be caused by and try a few things. You've given no information on what your system is doing when it freezes up, nor whether it reboots by itself, unfreezes by itself, whether there is anything in your event logs to indicate whether your problem is software or hardware related. How old is this system? Have you checked your CPU temperature? Do you know if your fans are running properly and are free of dust buildup that can obstruct airflow?. How long has your system been exhibiting the behaviour? Have you made any recent hardware or software changes? Have you checked harddrive integrity? There are many possible causes for freezups and you will need to give a lot more info and do some testing in order to isolate the exact problem
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
