I INSTALLED MY LITE-ON COMBO SOHC-5236V SCSI CdRom Device (DVD-CDRW) AND IT DONT WORK. I MEAN IT IS ACTIVE IN THE COMPUTER BUT IT DOESNT READ NOR OPEN NOR PLAY NOR NOTHING ANY DISK. HOWEVER I NOTICED SOMETHING ON THE DRIVE CONFIGUTATION. I EXPLAIN IN A MINUTE.

Can you drop the capitals it is tantamount to shouting in forums, thankyou.
Change the SCSI ID to either 2, 3, 4 or 5

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. TRY UPDATES. IT FIXED MINE! P.S. I LIKE CAPITALS TOO!
If at first you dont suceed in opening a computer, get a hammer and a chisel like i do...
