Hello out there can some body help me My Burner Won't Read nor record CD-R's But it Still Reads and Records DVD+R's...What Do I DO!?...do i use Alcohol 120% for now on or WHAT!? it use to record and read cd-r's but now it just stopped working this week

Did you try up-dating the drivers?

Sometimes this work, sometimes not. If you are comfortable editing the registry: Create a Restore point and back up the registry.Open regedit. Look for;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\SetControlClass. Key name: {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Value Data:[Delete all value data from upper and lower filters] Note-Do not delete the key or the multi-string values. Delete only the data values. Exit regedit and reboot.
