ive installed the xp driver and xp panel for a mustek 1200ub plus the drivers have installed but my scanner stays in sleep mode,the scanner works ok using me any ideas

I had troubles as well with this scanner but downloaded a patch to trick it into loading and it works well now

I have a problem installing the 1200UB scanner because the software I have that goes with the scanner only works under 98 and 2000, but it won't work under xp. help.
Please E-mail me if yoo come up with any conclusions.
