I know just about everyone has their favorite and mine is Musicmatch Jukebox, I have been using it for 6 years and would not use anything else. They have a free version and a shareware version.

ok, realplayer does support.. but its constant pop ups trying to help and its advertinsing of ringtones and other junk annoys me.. so bye bye realplayer.

I never have had any popups with jukebox, setting it up can be a little challenging but once it's done its easy to use, i never use the auto update feature or allow it to communicate with the MM server.

My vote is with Winamp too; it is a player and not a p2p Karl.
I think you might have been confusing WinMX with Winamp.
WinMX is the p2p.

I prefer the Foobar player. Even better than Winamp.
