I posted earlier, but I have more information to add to my problem which may allow someone to help better understand what is going on.
When I start up windows, I get a blue screen. At the very top it says:
multiple_irp_complete_requests
Then it goes on to say something about software and uninstalling it. Well I don't remember even deleting anything off my computer!
Then it gives me a whole bunch of "Technical Information" that looks like this..
0x00000044 (0x808b128g, 0x00001b90..........................etc)
Please help

This message means WinXP crashed because it was asked by a driver to complete an I/O operation which had already been completed. This is usually a software configuration problem, e.g. you may have a problematic driver on your system that needs to be removed or updated. But sometimes this can be caused by hardware corruption.
Recovery from this problem usually involves booting into "Safe Mode" and using the Last Known Good Configuration. See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q31522 A Description of the Safe Mode Boot Options in Windows XP at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q315222
