Hi there,
Is it possible (using a program or a registry setting) to have multiple taskbars in Windows XP?
So when one taskbar is full the new apps would be redirected to the 2nd taskbar.

No, but it is possible to expand the size of the taskbar you have. Hover the mouse over the inside edge of the task bar till it turns into a double-headed arrow. Then click and drag the taskbar to the required size. Do you have Group similar items together clicked? That will make managing multiple items on the task bar easier.

Although not a new Taskbar, this procedure works quite well:
Create New directory on the Desktop and place Shortcuts to all the "Extra" programs/apps inside the new directory.
After you've got the wanted/needed shortcuts in the new directory drag the entire folder to the current taskbar.
Then, when you wish to access your secondary shortcuts, just click on the New Directory in the taskbar.
Works GREAT... I've used this method for my "Games" and other apps that I don't regularly access; and don't want to go to Start>Programs....
