Sometimes when I right click in the notification area of Windows XP down by the clock, I get multiple Right Click Menus. The image URL shows what I mean.
The top two show that I can click multiple times and the menus stay up.
The bottom pic shows I can click once and sometimes two pop up.
This happens on two of my computers:
eMachines 831GM Desktop
Windows XP SP3
3.0 GHz
~1.5 GB RAMand
Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop
Windows XP SP3
1.5 GHz
512 MB RAMI'm pretty sure this happened when I had SP2 also, not sure though. This isn't anything serious but sometimes I go to click "Check Mail Now" for my gmail notifier and I hit "Tile Windows Vertically" by accident.

The image URL shows what I mean.
All I see is just a Red-X placeholder for the image. Possible cause: bad url link.

You have a large Taskbar which shows all of the 'Notification Area' Icons.
See if it helps if you reduce the Taskbar size.
Right click a blank area of the Taskbar,
then click Properties,
then check mark the box for 'Hide Inactive Icons',
then unlock the Taskbar,
then drag the top of the Taskbar down to a smaller size,
then Lock the Taskbar.

The thing is I like having a big taskbar. There's more space for minimized programs and less space is taken u for the icons.
Do I just have to deal with it then?
Justin
