Here's a weired one.

On one of the machines here, If you double click on an icon on the desktop (say internet
explorer) you end up with the machine launching loads of internet explorers (as many
as 100)

It doesn't happen every time but when i't does it can bring the system to its knees
(Imagine trying to launch 100 copies of photoshop)

has anyone seen this before?

Have you scan your computer for virus and malware?

Have you looked at the properties of this shortcut to see what it says?

Does it alway open the same sites?
If yes what sites?
