Hi, I have 2 DVD burner (sony dru-500AX, sony druu-530A) and Ive tried the multiple burner option in Nero 6.0. With this option I was able to burn 2 DVD-R on 2 separate dvd burner from the same source on a hard drive. The 2 burner where effectively burning at the same time, but when they where at the end of the burning session, they write the end-of-disc one at the time instead of doing it at the same time. This means that one of the burner stopped and restart burning 1 minute after. The dvd seems to to work perfectly at first, but I saw that the compatibility of the dvd-r was reduced to the most recent tv dvd player and dvd burner. When I was burning on 1 burner only, the dvd produced was working on all my dvd drives.
My question is: When you want to setup multiple dvd burner on the same computer, is there any things that you must absolutely do? Does your burner need to be of the same brand and model ? Thanks

What IDE channel are these connected to. Also master/slave? I've been doing this for some time, but one DVD Burner is on the Secondary/Master and the other is USB. Also my operating system and all programs are on a scsi hard drive.
