I just purchased a Eagle external HDD enclosure, and actually used it to put an external drive on my laptop, which apparently has a failing dvd drive (hence a relevent ntldr missing error)

anyways would i be able to run both a hd and a dvd drive off of this single enclosure? i have plenty of ide cables, as well as power splitters...

ntldr error doesn''t involve a dvd unless you are trying to boot a dvd.

Not to point out the obvious but why would you think you could run a dvd from this unit?
Do you see a cd/dvd slot?

the drive in the laptop was bad. i was installing windows when it crashed, only to turn on with that error. using a external enclosure, i can hook up a dvd drive and successfully installed windows.

but my question remains, can i use more then one device in one enclosure?
