Hi,
I recently got a laptop because a job took me away from home for 6mos. Now I am returning home and my laptop is my primary computer. I don't want to transfer everything to my older/slower computer at home but my home setup is nice with dual 19 inch monitors and a very comfy workspace. Is there a way I can hook my laptop to those larger monitors? I guess I need something Like an A/B switch where I can plug everything into it (even mouse) and run everything off those big screens. I basically want to use the laptop with my mouse and large monitors, but I also want to be able to use my home desktop as well, without tons of hassle.

No problem. You can get A/B switch boxes that alow two computers to use the same monitor. You can even get boxes that will allow the same keyboard and mouse to control two computers as well.
Try this:
