multimedia audio controller driver

Specs: Windows XP
i have a problem with my multimedia audio
controller driver. i got anoher compiuter and
now i cant get my speakers to work, but they
were working fine before, i instaled a Realtek
AC'97 Audio, but my speakers are still not
working, here is my compiuter information
below, please help me, do i need another
driver for my compiuter or is this the one?

What is the status listed for the sound/multimedia device in the device manager? Is the sound device enabled in the bios?

You probably installed the wrong drivers. Go to the link below and get the correct drivers. You also will need to setup the speakers in the speaker utility.
