Hey, questions. I've got a desktop computer with two hdd, first with msdos 6.22 fat 16, second windows xp professional service pack 3 with ntfs. I'd like to add a third hdd in order to install windows 98 se for some games I have and software that only works with NT, 98 or prior operating systems.
Is it possible to boot from windows 98 se with fat32 on the third hdd only? And if it is possible, how should I do it? I don't know how to configure it. With msdos 6.22 and windows 98 se it renames the start up files.

Yes it is possible to boot from different hard drives. You don't need need separate hard drives, only a separate partition. What you need is a boot manager. With separate drives a compatible BIOS could be used.

Why not just install 98 using Virtual PC?
