CPU/Ram: pent 2g with 1024mb

Does anyone happen to know the correct file version of msvcrt40.dll that should be on my xp. It seems that no matter the level of protection xp offers, they cannot protect this dll from being replaced by add-on programs.

The version on my XP Pro is: 4.2000.0.6.201
