I noticed that the past two days,MsPMSPSv.exe is continually running-from start up.I dont know how this process entered my pc.I have not installed any programs which would make this process run.I checked in msconfig and there are no programs which have been checked for startup that I was never aware of.If I kill the process nothing bad happens.I just want to know if someone knows how this process got into my pc and how to get it out.I have NAV2003 and NPFW2003, so I dont think it was from some kind of attack or whatnot.

MsPMSPSv.exe = WMDM PMSP Service is
Windows Media Device Manager (WMDM) service
Description:
1) Microsoft Windows Media Player is a multimedia player for many formats of music and video files. The WMDM service is used to connect to portable media devices when a user does not have the privileges to connect to the media device directly.
2) The Windows Media Device Manager (WMDM) Service in Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.1 on Windows 2000/XP systems allows local users to obtain LocalSystem rights via a program that calls the WMDM service to connect to an invalid local storage device, aka "Privilege Elevation through Windows Media Device Manager Service.
* I have this service set to manual and stopped on my PC.
