Msn.com freezes comp

Lately I have been having the same strange problem on 2 different machines at 2 different locations. On Msn.com and only on Msn.com my cpu usage soars to 100% and my page file usage increases from about 250 to over 1gb on one of the machines in under a minute. Of course this causes the computer to freeze up and the only way to escape is to terminate iexplore in task manager. Any ideas as to why this could be happening?

What happens if you use another browser? Does IE have all the newest patches?

I only have IE for a browser so could not try another. Everything is fine today on both machines. PF barely moves no matter how long I leave the page open. Only thing I can think of is that something in the content on the page was the cause. There was an obnoxious ad for walmart at the time which had a lot of action in it (flash) I believe it is called. I use MSN as my home page so I can keep up with the markets and news at work. Thanks for the response. I appreciate it. Bluejay
