msn problems

I have this problem with my msn and its really pissin me off... ive tried EVERYTHING! but nothing seems to work.. every time i try to sign in it keeps saying:
We were unable to sign you in to .NET Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with the service or your internet connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the internet. 0x81000301

are you still connected to the internet at this point!?!?! (obvious question!)
U might be having firewall issues. U run Zone Alarm or anything of the sort?
Or maybe ur routers cut out and need reseting. (if u use one)

Yes i am connected to the internet.. and i don't use a router and i didn't turn on my firewall.. and i can't sign in.. i just went to my friends house and i could sign in on their comp.. i think theres something wrong with my comp...
